Country living at its finest…

Thornborough Grange Park, in South Kilvington near Thirsk is set in 3 acres of lawned parkland with its own adjoining 5 acres of landscaped picnic meadows. The beautiful Cod Beck river runs through the park and there are fishing rights for those residents keen to catch their supper – good luck with that!

The park is in the heart of Herriot Country with both the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks a short distance away. The market towns of Thirsk, Ripon, Northallerton and Helmsley are ideal for shopping, meals and many more attractions to enjoy at your leisure.

Within walking distance of the park is The Old Oak Tree, a family run freehold pub with a restaurant serving home cooked food and real ales.

Thirsk & Northallerton Golf Club is adjacent to the park and offers a warm welcome to all levels of golfer. The 18 hole course offers an exciting challenge to visitors, guests and members with a free taster session available for beginners. The clubhouse offers a wide range of facilities so you can enjoy a relaxing meal and drink after a day on the course.

As mentioned earlier, the Georgian market town of Thirsk is only a couple of miles away. Its centre has a cobbled market square, cafes, restaurants and shops with a Monday & Saturday market and is dominated by the historic town clock tower.

A day out at the races is a perfect way to enjoy time with family and friends and Thirsk Racecourse offers a picturesque course with high quality racing.
